Skype is awesome.
My parents moved overseas a few weeks ago, and we've been having problems getting in contact with one another over the phone. The main problem is, my cellphone doesn't get a signal in my room. No matter how many times I asked them to tell me what time they'll call, (so I could leave my room), they wouldn't and I kept missing them. We managed to get lucky once, I talked to them, and they told me to get Skype. I thought that was just the chat program they prefered. Until my dad started chatting to me, CALLED me through the program, and turned on his webcam for us to have a face to face conversation. Maybe I'm a nublet, but this was amazing to me. I was so happy to get to talk to him.
On another note, my little brother leaves for Air Force basic training next week. I went through basic a couple of years ago, and I'm excited for him, and I'm praying for him to have courage and persevere through it.
